Is Chopper insurance the same with motorcycle insurance?
The helicopter insurance is not the same as motorcycle insurance standards. The owner of the helicopter have different needs because their Bikes have been modified considerably from factory standard. In fact, it is sometimes difficult to place a value on the helicopter as a vehicle custom-made, one-of-a-kind. Sometimes they are not factory-built at all, but assembled from a special kit.
The owner and the insurance company not only consult the blue book to determine how much the bike is worth. The inconsistency of such prices make it difficult for some owners to register their Bikes with the state, and this in turn makes them difficult to insure. Therefore, it is a good idea to have a helicopter independently assessed to true value.

Such inspections may include passing a safety test every year or two, which can potentially affect Your ability to make sure the bike.
